This Austin mural is one of the most Instagrammable spots in Austin. Not only is it the tallest mural in Austin’s city limits, but it’s the go-to spot for dog photos.
Take Note: With the increase in the homeless population in downtown Austin, this specific mural location gives off a very strong odor of urine.
This iconic mural on the side of Jo’s Coffee is one of the most popular spots in Austin. On any given day you can find couples, dog parents, and food bloggers in front of this mural.

You can find this mural behind the Willie for President Mural. Preschool was in session when we were taking these pics, so we hilariously have blue floaties in all of the photos. Thank you kiddos for the photobomb hehe
Lovingly called the “blue tile wall” as well. This spot is a well-known wall used for engagement photos, senior portraits, and commercial dog photography. I personally recommend going during the week – you’ll have fewer people waiting to take their photo then.
This iconic Austin mural is located on the side of the Greater United Austin Building. Here is where you’ll find the long-standing “Butter Half” mural. It’s a great spot to pose with your pet, bestie, hubby, or even your favorite cup of joe.
Hilariously enough, back in January of 2021 this mural was transformed from, “You’re my butter half” to “You’re my butt-hole”. The original muralist found the vandalism funny, so it got to stay for an entire month before it was restored back to its former glory.
